The
PROJECTATHENA™: Defeating Criminal Violence Against Women
Seminar is specifically designed for those women who:
- Worry
about walking home or on campus alone
- Become
anxious while walking to the car in a secluded area
- Must park
in an underground garage
- Must use
an elevator alone late at night and who seek a proven way to
protect themselves without relying on others.
The reality is
that
about every 7 minutes a female age 12 or over reports being a victim
of violent crime, including rape, assault or robbery. This
figure is estimated by the F.B.I. to represent only 25% of rapes,
suggesting that 75% of rapes are unreported. For those women
attending college and university an estimated
1 in 4 will be a victim to violent sexual
assault. We can teach you
how not to become a statistic.
We will
instruct participants in this course on using the C.R.A.S.H.™
System to:
- Create an
opportunity to escape safely
- Develop
situational awareness tactics
- Defend
against assaults from any angle
- The proper
use of simple, direct and brutally effective responses to
violent attack
- Disabling
the attacker
- Escape
from ground mount positions
- Interface
with law enforcement immediately after a confrontation
